With a rich history spanning more than 75 years, Penn State Altoona's Ivyside campus features 33 buildings, four residence halls, a reflecting pond, all-purpose athletic fields, and a turf soccer field with an eight-lane track, all set on a 171.5-acre plot of land.

Since 1999, our Downtown Campus—located just three miles from our Ivyside campus—has been growing to meet the needs of our students. In addition to conference facilities and both our entrepreneurship and alumni centers, the campus houses state-of-the-art labs and classrooms supporting our accounting, business, communications, cybersecurity analytics and operations, information technology, nursing, rail transportation engineering, and security and risk analysis programs.
